Your boss mentions that recently a number of employees have received calls from individuals who didn’t identify themselves and asked a lot of questions about the company and its computer infrastructure. At first, he thought this was just a computer vendor who was trying to sell your company some new product, but no vendor has approached the company. He also says several strange e-mails requesting personal information have been sent to employees, and quite a few people have been seen searching your company’s trash dumpsters for recyclable containers. Your boss asks what you think about all of these strange incidents. Respond and be sure to provide recommendations on what should be done about the various incidents.

Directions:

In your initial post, please explain how ERM adoption and implementation in non-profit organizations differ from those that operate for profit.

Respond substantively to at least two other students’ posts. Comment on the current state of ERM within the non-profit sector. What is one major hurdle these organization face when adopting and/or implementing an ERM ptogram?

2,  Build a business case for Seamus O’Malley to present to the senior management team at Nationstate to get their buy-in. In addition to benefits and costs, the business case must answer the “what’s in it for me” question that the BU 3presidents all have.

 Seamus O’Malley is rightfully worried about governance (i.e., making sure that the enterprise architectural standards are adopted by all Bus).  Both he and Jane are wary of forced compliance because such measures lead to “architecture police.”  What governance procedures could they put in place that would win “hearts and minds”; that is, BU architects would comply with the enterprise architecture standards because they believe in them – not because they are forced to comply with them?
